A House Worse Than Death
A trip to investigate the malevolent ghosts of a rural haunted house becomees a supernatural struggle for survival.
“I’m not afraid of dying. I’m afraid of dying in Coven House.”
It has stood outside a rural village in northwest Illinois for a century, a cursed farmhouse that seems as old as Time and as evil as icy Hell itself.
Brought to life by a coven of flappers and fanatics, it has remained on earth as a haven for anyone who walks or crawls into it—fools, adventurers, lost souls all.
Wealthy Curt Peterson disregards the stories surrounding Coven House as he seeks to communicate with his dead wife and daughter. He blames himself for their deaths and hopes that Coven House will allow him to be with them once more.
With him are his new wife, Jill, a model, and her photographer, Eric Cullen, who is himself determined to document the ghosts and memories that still inhabit its rotting rooms.
They will succeed.
Coven House allows all who enter it to discover its secrets.
Haunted horror in the tradition of Shirley Jackson and Richard Matheson.
