Earnie Shavers
Earnie Shavers, the Black Destroyer, was an American professional heavyweight boxer who competed between 1969 and 1995. A two-time world heavyweight championship challenger (in 1977 against Muhammad Ali and in 1979 against Larry Holmes), he is known as one of the hardest punchers in boxing history. He scored 70 knockout wins, including 23 in the first round, for a 76.7% overall knockout rate.
